Home made Rice Flour
If you are living in India, you can buy IR 20 rice for preparing rice flour which can be used for making Murukku and idiyappam also.
Wash the raw rice and drain the water completely. Spread the rice on a white cloth and dry it in a sunshade for 2 to 3 days. Grind the dried rice in to a fine powder in a rice mill in your location. Keep this rice flour in an air tight container and can use it for a month

Powder the rice in a blender/mixie in to a fine powder. sieve the rice flour so that you can remove the rice granules. you can use this flour immediately. If you want to use it later, you should dry the rice powder completely and store it
