1) Wash the Green Gram and soak it overnight
2) Cook the Green Gram in a pressure cooker for 2 whistles
3) Heat up the jaggery with a quarter cup of water and let it melt
4) Remove the jaggery syrup from the flame and filter it in order to remove the impurities
5) Again heat up the sugar syrup and add the boiled green gram and give a stir
6) Add the ghee, powdered cardamom and the coconut. Mix it well and cook it for a minute
Now the sweet sundal is ready !
