Cracked Wheat Adai

DIRECTIONS

1) Wash and Soak all the three dals together for 2 hours

2) Soak the cracked wheat separately for an hour

3) Powder the red chili, fennel seed with little amount of salt

4) Grind the dal into a coarse batter

5) Add the soaked wheat , onion, coconut, ground powder, 1/4 teaspoon of asafoetida (picture not included), and coriander leaves to the Dal batter. Add required amount of salt. The batter should be like idly  batter consistency

6) Grease the dosa pan with little oil. When pan is hot pour the batter and make desired size of adai. Apply some oil in and around the adai

7) When one side is done, flip the adai and let the other side cook (the flame should be in medium position)

Serve this tasty wheat Adai with coconut chutney, avial , or tomato chutney
