Green Gram Spicy Sundal

1) Wash the Green Gram well and soak it overnight

2) The next day, cook it with a little bit of salt in a pressure cooker. Leave it for 2 whistles (some green grams will cook in 1 whistle itself)

3) Grind the green chillies, ginger and coconut into a coarse powder

4) Heat up the oil, add mustard and urad dal, red chilies, asafoetida, and curry leaves one by one



5) Add the boiled green gram and give a stir


6) Add the ground powder and salt, and mix it up well. Let it cook for 2 minutes. Switch off the flame

 Now the Green Gram Spicy Sundal is ready
